These innovative legislative and policy accomplishments were made possible by because the unique lived experiences, expertise, care and concern of our endorsees.
Our endorsees are majority women of color, queer, mothers, caregivers, educators, nonprofit leaders, mental health advocates, and more. They know what’s at stake for our communities, and what our city needs to thrive.
However, we’re facing the real possibility of losing our majority in 2025. There 10 open City Council seats out of the 51, and we are at risk of losing those seats, and therefore losing our majority-women’s Council & the possibility of a woman Speaker who will amplify and expand these legislative wins.
